Wolfeboro, New Hampshire

Wolfeboro, located on Lake Winnipesaukee, is one of the top preferred lake towns in the Northeast. It’s located two hours away from Boston and around six from New York City, making it easy to get to.

Wolfeboro is right on Lake Winnipesaukee, which allows for sunset swims, a lot of ice cream at Wolfeboro Dockside Grille & Dairy Bar, and drinks with friends at Lone Wolfe Brewing Company. You can even go on a boat tour with the M/S Mount Washington. If you need a cozy place to stay, consider Pickering House Inn.

Greensboro, Georgia

If you’re looking for a place close to Atlanta, you’ll fall in love with Lake Oconee. Greensboro is located right on the lake and is perfect for golf lovers.

Bayview, Idaho

Aurora, New York

Aurora is located on Cayuga Lake and is one of the largest in the Finger Lakes region in New York. You can take a trip to Seneca Lake too if you want something a bit different.

In Aurora, you can discover new cultures, amazing cuisine and drinks, and fun water activities. For dinner, you can go to Maxie’s Supper Club in Ithaca, New York, which is only a half hour away. A nice place to stay is the Inns of Aurora.
